Taxpayers First Instrumental in Election of Six County Legislators

November 4, 2009

Taxpayers First supporters helped change the structure of the Erie County Legislature this year in an unprecedented way.  Lynne Dixon and Kevin Hardwick won their races to unseat incumbent legislators and business owner Dino Fudoli won his race to serve as a first term legislator. Legislators Ed Rath, Ray Walter and Minority Leader John Mills were also reelected.  These six legislators pledge to work together, taking away a legislative super-majority and forcing real discussion and debate on key County issues.  Taxpayers who were frustrated with the overly political legislature made their voices heard this historic election day, ensuring a taxpayer voice at the table.
